The original ASO ankle brace provides excellent support, superior comfort, and outstanding durability, thanks to its angled stabilizing straps that contour above the malleoli, its 3D spacer fabric on the tongue and inside the boot along the Achilles tendon, and an invisible seam at the rear of the boot.

The ASO ankle stabilizing orthosis is bilateral and fits both the left and right foot.

Indications:

  • Inversion or eversion ankle sprains
  • Medial or lateral ankle instability
  • Subtalar joint instability

Stabilizing Straps

The angled stabilizing straps contour above the malleoli for enhanced comfort and increased resistance to migration. They form a complete figure-eight to help stabilize the subtalar and talocrural joints.

Elastic Cuff

The circumferential woven elastic cuff with rounded edges keeps laces and stabilizing straps secure. Additionally, it works in concert with the upper boot to resist inversion or eversion forces.

CoolFlex Achilles Pad & Tongue

CoolFlex™ padding, containing spandex fibers, provides superior comfort along the Achilles tendon and dorsum of the foot. The shoe lace is attached to the tongue to ensure it remains centered at all times.

Invisible Seam

For improved comfort and durability, the seam is now positioned along the rear of the boot. There is no longer a seam under the foot.
