The tourniquet is a compact and lightweight device, operable with one hand, that completely occludes arterial blood flow in a limb. It combines a self-adhering band and a friction adaptor buckle to fit a wide range of extremities, along with a one-handed windlass system. The windlass uses a freely moving internal band to apply true circumferential pressure to the limb. The windlass is then locked in place; this requires only one hand.

It also features a hook-and-loop windlass strap to further secure the windlass during patient transport. Available in black and orange, and in a training version in blue.
