The new rigid belt, highly anticipated as a complement to the Comfort or Tonic belt.
Before birth
Whether you are about to give birth or have just delivered, this non-elastic belt has been designed to fit directly in the right position and close the pelvis at its lowest part - the one that opened during the baby’s passage. It is worn while lying down to provide support.
At the maternity ward
Right after leaving the delivery room and during the postpartum period, the mother can adjust this tightening herself to reduce pelvic or symphysis pain.
It also helps facilitate the return of your hip circumference!

FREQUENT QUESTION
- I’m hesitating between the Physiomat belt (Comfort/Tonic) and the Matrone?
- The Physiomat belt is designed for everyday use (walking, gardening, lifting, sports) but does not perform a tightening action. Tightening must be done with a non-elastic fabric. It can be done with a sheet in the maternity ward, as shown in the Matrone video, or more easily with the Matrone belt itself.
- I’m hesitating between the Hobby girdle and the Matrone. I’m looking for a girdle that helps tighten the pelvis and prevent diastasis. Does the girdle do both, or should I also get the Matrone belt?
- The girdle helps with diastasis but does not tighten the pelvis, since the lower band is elastic. Tightening must be done with a non-elastic fabric. It can be done with a sheet in the maternity ward, as shown in the Matrone video, or more easily with the Matrone belt itself.
