Navigait AFO for Drop Foot
Navigait MedSpec is a new alternative for users with a mild dropfoot. The amount of dorsiflexion is easily adjusted with an elastic coil to accommodate the user’s specific needs.
Low profile design makes it invisible under slacks. Navigait should not be used by patients who display spasticity or severe edema.
Developed to better assist users with a mild dropfoot to gain better dorsiflexion. The padded shell is positioned comfortably on the shin.
It features a removable interface and the plastic shin part can be trimmed with scissors. The amount of dorsiflexion is adjusted through the position in the lacing and with the hook and loop attachment on the shin plate.
Navigait is intended to support a foot when the ability to actively dorsiflex is reduced due to conditions such as Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, and Post Polio Syndrome.
Limitations: Navigait does not address abnormal foot positions or foot deformities. These conditions should be cared for with shoes and/or orthotics.
X-Small size: For less than 9" between knee and ankle.
Small/Medium size: For less than 11" between knee and ankle.
Large/X-Large size: For more than 11" between knee and ankle.
