Valleylab™ PolyHesive™ Patient Return Electrode

The Valleylab™ PolyHesive™ corded patient return electrode is manufactured with our patented PolyHesive™ II high-moisture conductive adhesive hydrogel. It provides the performance of a conductive gel without the mess associated with using gel.

Benefits of PolyHesive™ II Hydrogel

• The water-based hydrogel reduces skin resistance.
• Its ability to stretch allows it to conform to irregularities in the patient’s skin and reduce contact voids, thereby improving the total electrical conduction area.

Electrode Benefits

• The electrode’s large surface area disperses current over a broad area, reducing heat buildup.
• The acrylic adhesive improves skin contact quality and provides a moisture barrier to significantly reduce the risk of fluid invasion.
• Available in adult, infant (less than 30 lb [13.6 kg]), and neonatal (less than 6 lb [2.72 kg]) sizes.
• Non-irritating and non-sensitizing.

REM Contact Quality Monitoring System

• The Valleylab™ REM PolyHesive™ system monitors patient impedance levels and automatically deactivates the generator when a fault at the patient return electrode is detected.

• Adult: 9 ft (2.7 m) or 15 ft (4.6 m) cord, 50 units per box.
• Infant: 9 ft (2.7 m) or 15 ft (4.6 m) cord, 25 units per box.
• Neonatal: 9 ft (2.7 m) cord, 12 units per box.
