Hypafix® skin sensitive is specially designed for patients with fragile, sensitive or compromised skin. Its gentle silicone adhesive helps protect the skin against adhesive-related injuries while providing secure fixation of dressings and medical devices.

Indications

Hypafix® skin sensitive is ideal for:

  • elderly, very thin and fragile skin, as well as neonatal care and patients receiving cortisone treatments;
  • protecting the skin against friction and the risk of shearing;
  • securing dressings, catheters, cannulas, small dressings and ointments.

Breathable

Permeable to air and water vapor, it helps protect the skin around the wound, prevent maceration and support healing.

Gentle on skin

The silicone adhesive provides reliable fixation while minimizing stress on sensitive and fragile skin.

Low allergy potential

Made from selected materials to reduce the risk of sensitization or allergic reactions, Hypafix® skin sensitive is suitable for people with sensitivity to traditional adhesives.

Atraumatic removal

Removes gently, reducing the risk of skin injuries and pain during removal or readjustment.

Water-repellent for quick showers

Its surface helps keep water, dirt and debris away from the wound area, thereby helping to prevent infections.

Readjustable

Can be readjusted multiple times while maintaining its adhesive strength.

Convenient roll format

Available in easy-to-use rolls that can be cut to the required length.
